The tradition of tapas can be traced back to the Andalusian sherry region of Spain,
where a small piece of bread was placed over the glass to keep out dust and flies.
This soon evolved into delicious bite-sized treats, with different establishments having their own
specialities. In Spain today, there are many regional styles of tapas. The tradition of the tapas bar has
become an integral part of socialising with friends; the informality of the
dining experience suiting the gregarious Spanish lifestyle.
In Britain, we have now recognised the unique charm of this dining experience and find it a great
way to meet with friends and family. Here at Esteban, we strive to bring you the most comprehensive
